Byeee 2008 & Hellooooo 2009!!!

2008 had been a special year... getting married & promising to be by-the-side of each other is indeed magical.... So on this unique 366th day of 2008, i shd get myself prepared for 2009!!!!!

well, 2009 seems to promise me to be an exciting year ahead, with the arrival of MINI-ME, promoting me and dearie's status to mummy & daddy. hmmm... so here's my New Year Resolutions for 2009.

• I promise to be a wonderful wife (",)
• I will be a perfect mummy..... Try ok?
• I will cook more often for dearie...
• I will slim down & find my waist-line... hahaha... I wish!!!
• I will try to finish my work @workplace & not bring work back home, so that i'll have time for MINI-ME & dearie!!!

I look like... *sob sob*

now, i am having a identity crisis.... am i a potato or a peanut??? or am i both a potato & peanut????

1stly, 1 of my colleague described me as "a potato with toothpicks sticking out" as my arms & legs are thin although my tummy is growing big.... hmmm... so..... this is how i look like????

however recently, after putting on a golden-brown dinner dress (with a belt) for a wedding dinner, my hubby made this comment..... "erm..., u look like a peanut leh..." *FLIP!!!*

well... it's ok... coz my Mini-Me had just 'SMSed' me saying that i am the prettiest mummy on Earth. Whahahaha!!!

Hoohoohoo!!!! Merry Merry X'mas!!!!

Wheww... Great time passes so fast.... X'mas actually came & goes so so so quickly!!!! hmmm... met-up with 2 groups of friends this X'mas & here are my X'mas presents =)

'Tell my Why' DVD... wheww.... i got what i requested... hahaha!!!

(it is mentioned on the DVD case that it is suitable for age 3 - 12 children, hmmm....)

Report of my Monthly Checkup

Went for my monthly checkup with Gyne today... hahaha... i've gained 3kg since pregnant, reaching 48kg. Gyne also mentioned that BB weighs 750g, hmmmm... so the question is, where are rest of 2kg+???

i was woken up this morning due to BB's kicks... moments later, i realised dearie was applying gentle pressure to my tummy, with was actually responsed by BB, of course, by her kicks =). hahaha... Fun-time?!?!?!

For the very 1st time, my dearie told me a name that he had thought for BB. Here is it....

Hence, I went online to check out what does the name means...

Wow!!!! i was stunned... wat a cool & unique name. Kudos to my dearie coz at the back of my mind, I was just thinking of naming BB with a simple yet classic name like Elisabeth or Isabel =)

Once in a Blue Moon Craziness

Haf not been doing crazy things for a long long time.... hahaha.... coz i haf been such a good gal staying at home to 养胎. until... 12th Dec which was a 月圆夜which causes ppl to do crazy stuff... hahaha... blame it on the moon man!!!!

I HAD A BBQ IN AN AIR-CON ROOM (at OCC)!!!

ok lah... not really bbq-ing inside the room, the pit was at the balcony, just that me & my dearie stretched our hands out to the pit... see the pic??? 认真的男人最帅！

the whole nite was GREAT!!!! just that we were so worried that we would get caught by the security guards with the great smell of BBQ food and smoke rising from the balcony... hahahha... this is the 1st time tat i had BBQ without sweating & my hands are feeling cold.... thanks to the super strong air-con that we had adjusted to 16 Degree C....

The Amazing Dream

"The Amazing Dream" happened a few months ago but i had to record it down... it is just tooooooo amazing u see.

Let me see... think it happened somewhere in Sept when my dearie is serving his ICT. He recieved a called from 1 of his buddies, ZY, claiming that he had a weird dream involving dearie. So here it goes.... "The Amazing Dream":

my dearie went to ZY's house to play Wii. After some time, a chubby little girl, about the age of 1, walked into the house herself, and called my dearie, "Papa!!"

When i heard about it, i was simply speechless... We had not even told him that I was pregnant and the most amazing part was that he had predicted the gender of baby correctly!!!! Cool rite?? Think he can really set up a stall to predict the future liao. hee hee...

24 weeks pregnant

The following is what i read online...

Hello Aliens, are you there???

Saw a news reported on 10pm Channel 8 News recently that an American man claimed to have evidences about Aliens visiting our Planet Earth.

Well, do you believe in Aliens exisitence???

Yes, I do.



I had always believed that there are other beings or life forms sharing this universe with us, the Earthings. Well, it will be dumb and ridiculous to believe that in such a big universe, we are the only living planet right? It would be a waste of all that space just for us only humans.

Please don't tell me that they are little green men with big heads!!!! No!!!!! That's ugly and fake. Why must they be in green?

Seriously, I don't know how the hell Aliens will look like, but I believe that they are definitely more intelligent than Earthlings. (That's the reason why they are often pic to have BIG head right?) Maybe, we are Aliens' experiment on how long Earthlings would take to achieve their technology advancement. Hence, they are often visiting our Earth to check on our progress. Hahahaha.... possible???


Oh ya, I was an ALIEN too when i visited Japan... see their embarkment card... They actually asked for my "Alien Registration Certificate Number".

I am sick...

Went to see DOC today due to flu... I thought I just had flu... that's all.

Doc say,"Do you know you are having fever too? Hmmm.... 37.6 degree celsius?"

What the... I'm having fever???? I didn't even know that?!?!?!?!

"Ok, let me check your blood pressure as well.... ok... fine... no problem.... now heart-beat........ Hmmmm.... Your heart-beat.... hmmm.... did anyone or your previous Doc told you that your heart-beat is irregular???"


OMG.... what does she meant by IRREGULAR???

The Doc explained that for normal person, heart-beat should go "thump-thump.... thump-thump... thump-thump"...... but my cutie heart went "thump-thump-thump-thump... thump... thump-thump-thump-thump... thump"...

Crap... it sound like the PSP Patapon game.... Pata-Pata-Pata-Pon... Pata-Pata-Pata-Pon.....

I always thought that married men will grow fatter because they are very 幸福! They are showered with the love of their wife.... plus, of course, eating the leftover of their wife... Until today, i read this....

Why is it Monday today?

This is the 1st time that i am sooooooooo unwilling to wake up at 6am.... dragging myself to wash up and get ready for work.... Sigh... Monday Blues. And yes, it is so BLUE.



Since I can't quit my job or start work on Tuesday..... here is what I have done to kill the Monday Blues...

1. Imagine as if today is a FRIDAY.
2. Grab breakfast... to perk myself up!
3. Dress to kill. hahahahaha... I'm wearing a new blouse i bought over the weekends.
4. Promise myself to leave at the dot.

28th June @ The Singapore Flyer Experience

LOVE the feeling of being high up in the sky!!!!

I went on the Flyer last, last Sat in the morning at 9.30am with my family. We actually booked our tickets 3 months beforehand in March, as we wanted the exact date & time to celebrate Jiayi's Birthday. hahaha... Kiasu attitude rocks!!!!

The 30 min flight was splendid!!! I was excited all the while, trying to capture every view at every height. Here's some of the photos....

Singapore Flyer, the latest iconic monument of Singapore is indeed 'A Moving Experience at Every Turn'. I had a wonderful experience onboard and would really wish to revisit it for the night view.... (maybe when i could exchange the tickets with credit card points)
