Sherilynn's 1st Trolley Ride

Omg.... see how happy she was as she just couldn't keep her smile away during her 1st Trolley ride?!?!?!

Sherilynn's 1st visit to a park

On one sunny Sunday morning, Daddy & Mummy finally decided to bring me for a walk at Bishan Park (after saying it for numerous times).


Here's a pic of me in my car... hmmmm.... my 1st time seeing so much greenery around me!!! This is interesting!!!



Think Daddy and Muumy got a bit bored after a while.... else they just wanna collect evidences that they have brought me to a park before, hence, they started taking photos with me.... see how i smile when i take photo???? *cheese...*

Zzzzz.... gosh... i never knew that going for a walk is soooo tiring.... no wonder Daddy and Mummy din bring me here earlier.... *yawn yawn* This is also my 1st time falling alseep in my car too... what an achievement!!! hahahaha...

Princess on Solid Food

Sherilynn had passed her 6th month.... hence we have try feeding her with solid food. Gald that she like eating but things will get a little messy whenever she is too 'gan-jiong' for food. Her hands will start grabbing the spoon, legs will start kicking & she will start screaming... No time to clean her mouth at all.

Another weekend outing.... but this time, we brought along Sherilynn and her twin bear which was dressed with similar clothes.

Upgraded Baby Seat...

Naughty Naughty.... this little baby is unwilling to lay down at her infant car seat anymore... hence we had to upgrade her car seat which could position her in an upright position. See how she amuse herself with the seat belt?

BB Sherilynn is 5 Month Old!!!!

Hohoho.... Today is 7th of Sept, meaning to say,.... BB Sherilynn is already 5 Month Old!!!! hmmm.... should i consider it that time really do pass very fast???

See? she can now sit will a little support. hahaha... she is clinging on tightly to Daddy's bloster!!!!

It has been like ages that i've seen sunrise.... goshhh..... it can be sooooo lovely!

Not that i don't wake up early k? On the other hand, I have to wake up early everyday at around 5 plus in the morning for work, but i can only see DARKNESS.... hahahaha... so sad rite???

Swimming Day

Whooo-hooo.... my little Sherilynn is a great swimmer!!!! See how violent the water wave moves as she kicks even though it is her 1st swim??? now i really understand why i always feel that she is moving soooo violently when she was still in my tummy (oppss... i meant my womb)....

hahahaha.... Really gald that she enjoys swimming!!! sooooo smiley as she swims.....

Growing Milestone: Rolling Over

Whoo-hoooo.... Sherilynn rolled over today (24th July 09), making such a great achievement on her 3rd month & 2nd week!!!!

She had actually been practising hard on this 'trick' for the past few days, trying to turn everytime we lay her flat on the ground. Even yesterday night, she needed a few attempts before being able to roll over proper & stay stable straight up. But sudddenly this morning after waking, she magically rolled over at her 1st attempt. hahaha... See, Practice do make Perfect!!!

I'm sooooo proud of her!!! WHAHAHA...

BB's Immunisation cum Checkup

Brought Sherilynn for her vaccination last friday and was actually pretty excited about her measurements... wanna see whether she has grown well mah...

here's her growth at 3 month & 1 week:

Head Circumference > 40.0 cm @ 50%

Weight > 5.96 kg @ 50%

Length > 64.5 cm @ 90%

Hahaha... luckily she not underweight, just perfect... else all the milk she drank is wasted!!!! hee hee, gald that she is growing well & growing sooooo long ( aka. tall)!!!!

My Gal is 3 month old!!!

she had just turned 3-month & suddenly, she can lift her head cum shoulder easily off the ground with she is put on her tummy. she used to struggle lifting her head up & now, she is unwilling to put her head down to rest.... hahaha.... now i am just waiting for her to do a proper roll-over....

Driving with kids in car...

heard over the radio some time ago that according to a survey, parents with young children are the most reckless drivers... Yupz yupz, i was actually stunned by the survey results as i thought that with BB or kids around, the safety of passagers is definitely the number 1 concern.

till recently i chance upon this comic from the Sunday Strait Times when i was on my flight to Taiwan, Taipei.... thought this is super funny & close to heart, hence i even kept a copy of it.

Whooo-hooo... we bought gal gal a play-mat!!!! hahahaha... it is such a pretty play-mat lor. so colourful & attractive & with many little toys attached. dun think i had such nice toys when i was a baby... haha, guess bb nowadays are sooooooooo lucky!

This 1st pic show bb lying on the mat.... hahaha. nice mat rite? so many cute animals lor. think she can start learning to identify the animals (at the age of 2 month +) ?!?!?! whahahaha....

This pic shows the toys being attached to the play-mat... hahaha.. see her stunned look? she must be surprised that mummy & daddy bought her such a nice play-mat. Anyway, she started punching & kicking the toys attached after a while... my conclusion: She LOVES her play-mat!

I gave in to facebook......

After knowing that the whole wide world has a facebook account & how fun the games are... I finally gave in to set up an account... yaya... Mountain Tortoise made her move again!!!

3 days upon setting up.... i got only 25 friends... gosh... so little!!!! hahaha.... but i seriously have to admit the the games are fun & ADDICTIVE!!!! i am sooooooo stuck to Bejeweled & playing with the pet, JIAZZE that i own... hahaha...

Sherilynn is 2 mth old!!!

BB is finally 2 month ( + 5 days) old .... say long not long, say short not short.... hmmm.... dunno when will she start calling me "Mummy"????

Anyway, she is now picking up new tricks.... hahaha...
(i) she follows the movement her toys
(ii) she smile more often now... hence melting my heart....
(iii) she is able to say "Ah-ger" & "mmmmmhhhh".... maybe she will start calling me soon!!!!

My birthday is here & gone le.... so fast.... sooo sooo sooo fast coz i waited for it sooo sooo sooo long....

Anyway, Mountain Tortoise finally see the world on her birthday... Firstly dearie & I went to Lawry's the Prime Rib for our dinner... hahaha... after thinking of it for years (coz it is well-known as a steakhouse but i don't even eat steak la). Well, food is ok only... ambience & service is good la... here a pic of the place. See the high ceiling, pictures, & chandelier... look grand ba.

Hey, but the dessert is wonderful!!!!! hahaha... Conculsion: Nice experience there... but don't think will gian to go there again...

Next we went to watch a movie, so Mountain Tortoise finally see the world again as this is my 1st time watching a 3D movie... Monsters vs Aliens.... Great experience!!! 4 out of 5 stars!!!! coz very 3D leh... but 1 star deducted coz my nose is very suan after the whole show as i need to wear the 3D specs & i'm not use to wearing spec at all.

Home alone with BB

yupzz... after 6 weeks (& 5 days) she was born, i am finally home alone with bb without hubby & mummy around to help me!!!! hahaha...

no worries, the little one was bathe, fed, coax to sleep & clean up timely.... so no dirty or angry bb around!!! (",)

see... i still haf time to come online to update my blog!!! whahahaha... sound like bb is so difficult to take care & i can be so hao lian about it ya...

P/S: three cheers for this new mummy ba!!! she is not that great but definitely learning on the job...

1 month & 2 week old

BB is 1 month & 2 weeks old today (",).... Brought her for the 2nd dose of Hep B injection & here's some updates....

She is currently 4.4kg (as compared to 2.97kg at birth) & 'standing' at 57cm (as compared to 50cm at birth). Not bad ba, growing 'longer' by 1cm per week... hahahaha... (btw: i dunno what is the norm anyway).

Knowing her crying 'volume', I was actually quite worried about today's injection. The way she cries is like the whole 'village' also can hear de lah... anyway, Sherilynn was in her deep sleep before the injection. But when the needle POKE her, her whole face instantly turned super RED, & she started screaming at the top of her voice. hahahaha... though the crying was expected, she really sound like in great pain. Nevertheless, i am indeed proud of her as she was pacified fast & fell back to sleep again... hahhaha... BRAVE GIRL !?!?!?!

Missed the feeling....

BB is already 1 month & 1 week plus... growing well!!! hahaha... at least i can see some changes in her outlook (",) . pls tell me she look fatter!!! else, that means the 1 month of milk tat she had drank is wasted man. hahaha

Anyway, I was laying her at my tummy the day before to coax her to sleep. As she wriggled on me, it really brings back fond memories... It really makes me misses the feeling of having BB moving & shifting inside my tummy instead (though it din happened not long ago, it seems like ages liao). hahaha... Now, i have to carry her with my hands le...

BB's Name is....

My 12th Day of Confinement..... Finally managed to get access to internet (for an hr or two).... I'm sooooo sooooo sooooo happy!!!!! Hence, I'm here to make a post!!!!

Anyway, Mini-Mi's name is finally confirmed... hence, I will not call her Mini-Mi anymore (",)!!!! Yupz... her name is Tan Kai Xuan, Sherilynn.
