Yes, I am!!!!

I know, I know... I am just 4 more days apart from the Estimated Due Date of Mini-Mi.... and for those that are wondering,....

YES, I AM STILL WORKING!!!!

A lot of colleagues are surprised & stunned to see me at work today... don't worry k? I am still fine =) Anyway, I will be having the weekly checkup later in the afternoon & hence, hearing from my Gyne if Mini-Mi will probably pop out this week....

Well, the worst case scenario that could happened is that I will appear on newspaper saying that a teacher is so committed to work & had given birth in school. WHOOHOOOO!!!!! maybe den, Mini-Mi will have a guarantee space for her to study in my school. hahahaha!!!!

Countdown Time... 10 more days....

OMG... In just 10 more days (according to the EDD) & Mini-Mi will join the Tan Family! 10 days only leh.... just need 2 hands to count can liao....

Anyway, I just had my weekly checkup yesterday, think Mini-Mi is really mini... she only weighs about 2.8kg. But Dr Watt mentioned that it is a great thing, hahaha.... coz delivery will be easier mah... hmmm.....

Between, Dr Watt was super funny yesterday during the scanning process... here's part of our conversation:

ME : Erm... why everytime BB close her eyes???
DR WATT : Well, sometimes BB do open their eyes to peep a bit, but usually eyes are closed coz they got nothing to see inside the womb mah....
ME : ***faint***

Finally went for the Maternity photoshoot session as wished.... hahahaha.... Had decided to go for the photoshoot as i wanna capture this special moment of my life & b'coz I realised that I din take much photos during the past 9 months of pregnancy.... whew.... great excuses rite???

A visit to my Old School....

There is it... My old School - NYJC!!!! The place where I met my hubby 11 years ago during the Orientation Week!!!! hee hee hee...

As I have to bring 10 students there for a competition organised by NYJC, I met several ex-teachers too... great memories after talking to them!!! hmmm.... if I were them, think it would a 'werid' feeling seeing ex-students coming back for visit with a BIG TUMMY ya. hahaha....

Well well.... Time flies....

Will it be so 准???

Managed to contact a friend, whose wife and I shared a lot of common things... For instance, his wife and I shared the same Birthday on 4th of June. In addition, we have the same Chinese character, '佩', in our name.

But hey, the most most most '准' incident is that we are both pregnant and our estimated due date is only 1 day difference!!!! Mine is on 3rd April while hers is on 2nd April!!!!!! Unbelievable rite???

Anyway, the scariest part is that my friend told me that his BB will delivered this week instead due to pre-term labour. hhhmmmm... so the point is..... Will it be so 准 and i will also deliver by this week???

BB Checkup

Nothing much this time round.... but here it goes....

BB is currently 2.5 kg and i am 52.8 kg. Seem like BB and I have not put on much weight this last 2 weeks.... hmmmm... let me see, BB had increased 0.3 kg while i increased 0.8 kg.... Could be because i am sick for the past week ya.

Anyway, from this week onwards, i will be going back for checkup on weekly basics instead. Gyne also asked me to watch out for symptoms of labour.... hmmm... This is making me nervous man, it is as though i will be giving birth anytime.... hahahaha....

Shopping Spree of BB Items

Daddy & Mummy finally bought ALL the necessary baby stuff!!! hip hip hooray!!!!

We went for the baby fair at Expo on Sat, managed to be the 1st 1000 visitors which entitled us a goodie bag each... and spent abt 4 -5 hrs at Expo & before proceeding to Kiddy Palace for some missing items... But hey, finally we started buying things for baby ok?!?! think no 1st-timer parents will wait till soooooo late (1 month before BB is born) before getting the things ready... hahahaha... see, steady parents with steady BB ya!!!

Pretty happy that we are able to purchase the following stuff... like a orange Combi Stroller, lots of Diapers, thermometer, a complete set of Sterilizer with milk bottles & even pacifier, a new set of clothing for BB to be worn during her discharge from hospital, lots of baby wipes and clothes detergent for BB.

Well, i'm glad that we had signed with Cordlife and a maternity photoshoot package too... just can't wait for the day of photoshoot!!!!

The advanture to see injured Merlion

Had an hour to spare before my scheduled massage session, hence, dearie and I decided to visit Mr Merlion after hearing the news on Sat that he was being struck by lightning.

I am not that evil to laugh at his injuries la, but i just wanna to show concern k? No matter what, Mr Merlion was the one who has witness OUR LOVE.... hahaha... Coz dearie 'jio' me to 'go steady' with him at the presence of Mr Merlion about 11 years ago before he moved house to face the sea. So romantic rite????
